Real Sideshow Killer Snake Skin
Awesome piece of Sideshow History
on March 16th 1961 in Gibsonton, Florida, carnival showman Alfred 'Sailor Katzy' Henley, fell victim to one of his own famous sideshow attractions, an 18 foot monster articulated python.
When drunk, Arthus decided to handle the snake alone and sadly met his demise
The story made headline news and can be found on the internet
Even after the snake had died it remained a sideshow attracting due to the press coverage it received. After Mrs Henley's death, the snake passed from one sideshow owner to another. By this point the skin was old and brittle. It was finally sold off as sideshow history.
The frame measures 8x10 inches with glass front.
